The GODSinFUN project began to emerge, sometime in the late 70s, when I lived in Vialonga and played with several ideas of cultural and artistic intervention dreaming of some imaginary band, perhaps similar to the one that fascinated me in Cascais
in 1975, in my first and most unforgettable concert ever with Genesis and the angelic Peter Gabriel. 

I still remember the logo that I left registered in the pages of memory and in the meantime
some texts were even tested in readings among friends and a multi-media show was even submitted for the extinct Rock Rendez-Vous, but technical and other constraints ended up postponing my dream to another century...

The seed was preciously saved until one fine day in Manchester, during the Architecture Course 
and caught in the torrent of the computer revolution, the most incredible software for creating and manipulating of image and sound, the thirst for experimentation finally began to be satisfied... 

Thus, in 2007, the first results of the sound experiments were published and appeared in an album entitled FUNdaMENTAL...

If on the one hand, the name of the project is based on the basic idea that we are all human and fallible and yet also all children of God -hence gods in the plural and because music also demands this plurality and sharing- and at the same time it intends to represent an alternative proposal/perspective of dealing with the eternal issue of the relationship between the Divine and the Human, and which is not compromised, on the contrary, it can be seen in a free and responsible way, in a participatory and liberating way... 

The title chosen to start production can have different levels of interpretation- first because it is the first work, and has a foundation, foundation, foundation character. and at the same time because it also intends to reinforce the idea that ends up being the slogan most appropriate and the great leit-motiv of music, and of Life in general, is that the feeling of Fun is FUNDAMENTAL,
-which, if we look at it in another way, might bring us that essential satisfaction and motivation to continue and remain in Joy.
